Alibi, the word is mainly used as a noun but informally sometimes can be used as a verb.

Alibi, শব্দটি প্রধানত: noun হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হলেও অনানুষ্ঠানিকভাবে মাঝে মাঝে verb হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Meaning as a noun:

Evidence or proof or claim that a person who is suspected to have committed a crime actually did not commit it because that person was elsewhere when the crime took place.

Excuse, the word is also used as a noun as well as a verb.

Excuse, শব্দটিও noun এবং verb হিসেবেও ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Meaning as a noun:

1. An explanation if you have done anything wrong.

আপনি কোন ভুল করে ফেললে তার ব্যাখ্যা।

Example:

• This cannot be an excuse for being late in the class.

2. A false explanation or reason to do something.
